PAWS AND NOSE BALM
Keeps noses and pads hydrated and soft, perfect for dry pass and noses in need of some TLC.
FACE TIDY
Ideal for dogs who just need a little tidy up of their face between grooms.
NAILS
A trim of your dogs nails, finished with paw balm.
DE-MATTING AND COAT MAINTENANCE
If your dog has just a few mats, we may be able to take care of these with a de-matting treatment or by clipping them out. Your dog can be styled in such a way that blends the clipped area into the longer coat. If your dog is badly matted, Soaks will need to take more time with shaving the matted areas. This is time-intensive and requires extra care not to cause any nicks if the mats have formed close to the skin. As a professional pet groomer we will do our best to advise you of your responsibility after treatment and ongoing preventative care. Ideally, your dog should come to the salon every four to six weeks or thereabouts, depending on breed and how much you do at home. In between grooms, your dog will benefit from daily (or every-other-day) brushing out. If you need help with choosing the right brush or using the right technique, ask us and we will be happy to show you.
HAND STRIPPING
Hand stripping is for wire haired breeds to remove the dead outer coat by hand rather than cutting it with clippers. This helps to keep your dogʼs coat its natural colour and texture. We do not offer a bath & dry with a hand strip, when combined with a bath, hand stripping can encourage or lead to infections and irritation.
